What you want is for Walmart, etc. to pay their employees what you think they should make. The problem is it's not your money.
I'm sure you'd love to tax them that much. It's the only way your burger flipping ass would ever have anything. God knows you don't have the skills to earn it.
I can go out and vote for a $15.00 minimum wage. Problem solved. The people can also vote to nationalize WalMart if we wanted to. Problem solved.
So you are making the argument of a "Bully". "Because I can". The problem is, there are just more of us than there are of you, at the end of the day.
I EARN a living. How I do it is irrelevant. I don't jump from job to job like you because the other fast food restaurant will let you do burgers instead of fries.
I earn a living, too. I just don't continue to put up with employers who abuse the relationship. Now, this job I just quit, I gave them YEARS to do the right thing. Then I traded it in for something better, going from a $42,000 job to a $55,000 with Stock Options. While I waited for these guys to do the right thing, I also started a side business for extra income, which just had it's best year.
Turns out I was downright prescient. A month after I left, the big corporation that owns the company I worked for announced they were shutting down that site to move those jobs to Mexico.
But you keep telling yourself the 1% are your friends.
