Beauty and the Beast is a cute little kids movie with the beloved Emma Watson (who according to the reviewer, could use a stronger singing voice). Disney put a lot of effort into translating this ancient folk tale into flesh and blood, with some good special effects as well. Why are the InfoWars types suddenly waging war on Disney? Have they been found to contribute to the Democratic National Committee? What's the deal?

I got no truck with organized religion but I don't like JoeB's attitude of aggressive disrespect toward it, either. I was raised in a Christian faith and I have absolutely nothing against those who still believe. I think it's crazy though to damn two consenting adults for who they love, and although it may not be the EXACT topic of this thread, it is in the same vein as one earlier this week that did object to this same movie because it supposedly includes one line that is "gay." That's the real message here, regardless of what tricky argumentatists want me to believe.

Dan Stevens is a very good actor. I remember him from Downton Abbey. I was devastated when his character died.

Only trailers so far. I may see it at the theaters, which I don't do often. Last movie I saw was HP Deathly Hallows II

What is insane is that anyone ill defend including elements of immoral sexual perversion in a movie that is intended for an audience of children. I guess I shouldn't be surprised to hear that from you, given that I just recently saw, in another thread, you defending the actions of a 50-year-old former teacher who has kidnapped a 15-year-old child for apparent sexual abuse, as being based on “love”.
