Of nearly 22,000 people surveyed in 21 countries, Pakistan is the only country that would readily elect Mitt Romney as president.

“An average of 50% favoured Mr Obama, with 9% for Mr Romney,” the poll found.

France was the most pro-Obama of the lot while Canada voted about 65 per cent in favour of Obama and 9 per cent in favour of Romney.

Which is precisely why we should vote for Romney. There's a reason why Jimmy Carter is the most popular modern US president outside the United States.

World opinion with regard to our elections, and leaders, is unimportant. The world does not have a voice in our process.

The rest of the world, even Pakistan, can go pound sand when it comes to our Elections.

Darkwind makes a good point however, this does show we have repaired our relationships overseas after Bush.

Dont kid yourself, France matters, they out spend the Brits in defense now and are a strong ally in the war on terror. So while they cant vote, this does show we have them on board.

Well played President Obama.

Finally a topic I can agree with, Obama is much better for the WORLD.
Mitt Romney is just a light weight, and would only be seen as a PUPPET under the control of the People of the United States.

The BBC must be trying to divert attention away from the Jimmy Savile pedophile scandal. Why would the rest of the world be interested? They ain't voting.

I think the world is interested because when the President is an idiot republican, the world is a worse place for people IN the states, AND outside of it. Georgie Porgie is prime example.

Well played President Obama.

Is that why the Brits outnumber the French in places like Afghanistan. Oh, of course, I forgot, Obama declared that France was the USA's closest ally.

Go to Africa and ask around about that. Then, just stay there.

We have to repair our image after Obama. Obama has done much more damage to this nations image than Bush ever did.

Sure deflect. The world hates republicans. Have for a long time now.

One day America will be dragged kicking and screaming (at least the right side) in to the wonderful world that is civilized behavior by the rest of the progressive world. Until that time, people have to put up with your bullshit.

Won't be long now.
