BBC documentary about Jews in Israel 2,000 years ago. But, where were “palestinians”?

Joshua didn't kill all the Canaanites. That's a myth.. nor did they have any huge armies. Jerusalem was less than 10 acres and had a population of less than 1,000.

Again, you're fighting a strawman,
because you avoid the lack of connection
between those Canaanite tribes and the Arab tribes occupying the land today.

Not only there's nothing to connect them culturally as a continuous civilization,
but the Arab tribes occupying southern Levant today, don't have any cultural
traits distinctive from the invading foreign civilizations.

Don't be silly. Their dna is still there.

Archaeological data suggests that Canaanite cities were never destroyed or abandoned. Now, ancient DNA recovered from five Canaanite skeletons suggests that these people survived to contribute their genes to millions of people living today. The new samples come from Sidon, a coastal city in Lebanon.

Those who were Jews, remained Jews. Very few would have converted to Christianity or Islam.

Still, it does not make all of those who call themselves Palestinians today, related to the Ancient Jews.

The Byzantine mention Jews as native, not "Palestinians"
The Kurds and Arab invaders mention Jews, not Palestinians
The Crusaders massacred Jews and Muslims in Jerusalem, not Palestinians
The Ottoman Empire mentions Jews and Arabs and others. But no Palestinians.
The British mention Jews and Arabs, Muslims.
No Palestinians

The Arabs migrated out of the Arabian Peninsula in waves over 10,000 years ago as Arabia became more arid. They migrated to Mesopotamia, the Levant and Palestine.

The Akkadians were Arabs. The 4 tribes Sargon 2 settled in Samaria (circa 700 BC) were Arabs.

They have known that Joshua didn't destroy or even interrupt the Canaanites towns in Sinai and Canaan.

You are desperately trying to write all those people out of history.

After examining the DNA of 93 bodies recovered from archaeological sites around the southern Levant, the land of Canaan in the Bible, researchers have concluded that modern populations of the region are descendants of the ancient Canaanites.

Most modern Jewish groups and the Arabic-speaking groups from the region show at least half of their ancestry as Canaanite.

In the study, published in Cell, the researchers explain that they used existing DNA analysis of 20 individuals, from sites in Israel and Lebanon, and then added 73 more, taking DNA from the bones of individuals found at Tel Megiddo, Tel Abel Beth Maacah and Tel Hazor (Northern Israel), Yehud (central Israel) and Baq’ah (central Jordan).

By first eliminating individuals closely related to other individuals in the sample, then comparing the remaining 62 DNA samples against a dataset of 1,663 modern individuals, they were able to establish the genetic link to the modern populations.

The ethnic groups either still living where Canaan once dominated, or from that area prior to moving elsewhere, are largely descended from the Canaanites.

Actually, vast majority of Muslims occupying most of the Levant today,
cluster with other Muslims, Bedouins and Saudis.

While Jews cluster with other minorities,
Lebanese Christians and the Druze.

The so-called "Palestinians" are the first people in the world who had to be TOLD what to call themselves and that did not occur until the latter half of the 20th century.

I thought you said actual science...
If you have 93 bodies, you can find connection to anyone.
That's why population genetic studies are only available recently.

From your link:

"are consistent with having 50% or more of their ancestry from people related to groups who lived in the Bronze Age Levant and the Chalcolithic Zagros."

Q. 50%...
isn't that like the similarity between human DNA and Wheat?

You are a liar AS ALWAYS.

Shakespeare mentions "Walking to Palestine" , and NOT a "Palestinian" people. The reference was to a geographical location that included Jews, Druze and others as well as Arabs.

A major new study has shown how modern-day Jews and Arabs retain the genetic heritage of Bronze Age Canaanites who lived in the land today known as Israel for more than 2,000 years.

Reporting their results in the scientific journal Cell, the team from Hebrew University in Jerusalem submitted their findings after studying the DNA from bones of 73 individuals found at five Canaanite sites across Israel and Jordan, then comparing them to 20 from four other sites, which had already been studied.

Continued at length.

So the same 73 individuals, without addressing the big question,
with mere 50% similarity...quiet the long shot don't you think?

If there was any clear cultural continuation,
or any of the properties of a native civilization,
was there the need to grasp at such a weak straw?

All this grasping at straws,
is for clear lack of cultural continuation,
or any of the properties of a native civilization.

All the researchers, archaeologists , historians and scholars are wrong, but not you.

One of the very best books written on this subject is The Bible and the Ancient Near East by Gordon and Rendsburg. The authors are quite sophisticated linguists and historians. They know Ugaritic and other Semitic languages and have read the source materials, and they go into great detail on the Canaanite culture that the Hebrew tribes came from. They discuss linguistic, archeological, and textual information that give us insight into those times.

I've asked for one, you couldn't even bring one that didn't refute your argument.
So to sum it up, all the avoidance, and the build up to big claims,
all comes down now to a Faucci line? That was quick...
