Over 200 lithium batter plants operating in caligotnia

And sometimes they catch on fire due to the dangerous chemistry involved

A danger not just in manufacturing but risky technology that remains for the entire life of the battery

The fiery fumes can rocket hundreds of feet in the air and rain toxic heavy metals down on humans for at least 15 miles

This is the unforeseen impact of reckless greenie lib policy

I'm shocked they even put it in the news.

When I lived in Fairfield, there was a massive chemical spill/accident at the Clorox plant, pumping billions of gallons of toxic fumes into the air that had no scent.

But they couldn't be bothered to tell anybody about it.

I didn't live far from there, and I came home from work one day..........and after I took my shower and sat down, my nose started gushing blood for no reason. And I had never had any kind of nose bleed before. Didn't know what happened until word of mouth was spreading around at work.

Clorox must have paid off all the radio, TV stations, and news papers, as NOBODY posted it anywhere. We wouldn't have known about it at my job if it weren't for the fact someones relative worked at Clorox.

Refineries do that too. You take that for granted.

Thats true

But collectively the Lost Secrets of Atlantis, aka green energy, is more deadly, less well understood, and longer lasting

When the oil leak in the Gulf of America took place when obama was president it did a lot of environmental damage to the region

All of which is gone today

But cancer-causing cobalt will remain in California farmland for hundreds of years

And infect people all over America

What a screwed up state.

Well, not really true on the oil spill effects gone. The company responsible should have been put out of business. They only paid our 20 billion or so. The gulf is a dump as far ad water quality.

Thats not true

The Gulf of America is very clean for fish and people

Oh yes it sure is...i wouldnt dip a finger in it today. Cesspool.
Who is telling you to?

There is no difference in water quality between the Gulf of America and the Atlantic or Pacific Oceans

True...the amount of plastics in the oceans is incredible. Time to regulate the industry.
Yes, plastics are a problem

Particularly since recycling is an idea that looks good on paper but not so much in real life

Pure hogwash. Oil seeps out of the ground naturally all over the globe. There are spills all the time going on. We do a favor sucking up the oil to burn it.

The penalty should have been 10x what was paid out.

Would you say the Ford Pinto was reckless technology? I see it as a mix of reckless design and reckless accounting. Poor design and the attitude that settling lawsuits would be cheaper cost than fixing the problem.

Then there was the car-b-que here in Arizona back in 1978 at a concert in Cordes Junction. Over one hundred cars were destroyed while parked on dry grassland which ignited due to heat from a catalytic converter.

Technology certainly can bring on problems. Any toxic fumes incident brings back thought of thousands upon thousands of deaths from the Union Carbide pesticide plant in Bhopal.

We know that Ford rejected a fix for the Pinto for cost reasons

But the settlements and bad publicity cost them much more

However all lithium battery EVs are ticking time bombs

If it burns for 50 more years, then it will be like a coal mine fire.

Its too bad libs are so afeared of nuclear energy
This is what cultism does to the mind ^^

It's not liberals holding that up. In fact, Obama guaranteed federal loans for 4 new nuclear plants. Problem was and is, NOBODY wants a nuclear plant anywhere near them.

And insuring it? Another prohibitive step.

Thats not true

The nuclear does not trust the federal government to support nuclear in the future
