Bass...fished for 'em, ate 'em up!

What an afternoon of fishing yesterday. Caught around 20 bass shore fishing on a private lake - they ranged from 1 to 4.5 pounds...BIG for the Midwest. Kept four of them and had them for dinner last night. Just a touch of salt/pepper and a dusting of flower, then into the cast iron skillet. A little fresh lemon juice and wow, so tasty!

Nothing like fishing on a private lake. Good job with cooking them. I've been a freshwater fisherman all my life here in Florida. I've eaten an uncountable number of bass and I cook them exactly like that.
