What single home run in Major League Baseball do you remember the most ?

For me, its a tie, of home runs by 2 baseball LEGENDS >> Stan Musial & Roger Maris

1. In the 1955 MLB All-Star Game, Stan Musial hit a home run in the 12th inning, to win the game for the National League. At the time, I was a New York Yankee fan, and was rooting for the American League team. I remember being furious that the American League pitcher threw a letter high fast ball, to a guy who led the National League in batting 7 times. Sheesh!

2. In the 1961 season, Roger Maris hit home run # 61, breaking Babe Ruth's record, that had stood for 34 years, despite never having been done by such great HR hitters like Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Jimmy Fox, Hack Wilson, Johnny Mize, & Ralph Kiner.

Note: please don't post home runs by Barry Bonds, Mark McWire, Sammy Sosa or other known steroid users (who do not have performance records)

Mine was the only walk off inside-the-park grand slam in MLB history. It was done by Roberto Clemente in 1956. The story was overshadowed by the sinking of the Andrea Doria.

Kinda like nobody remembers when C. S. Lewis died. It was November 22, 1963.

I was at a game with my GF. A dead fastball hitter was at the plate. The pitcher was a rookie, so I made a comment to my GF. I said the pitcher should not challenge this guy (with a fastball). Sure enough, he challenged and the batter hit a rocket. Well, didn't I feel smart for a moment!

Most recently, 2-out 2-strike B8 WS Game-7 HR by CLEVE player (pinch hitter)

Rajai Davis hitting a game-tying two-run home run, a moment described as one of the biggest hits in baseball history by championship win probability.
The game was ultimately decided by rain, which halted play with the score tied 6-6, leading to a suspended game that was later resumed and won by the Cubs.

Joe Carter's walkoff homer that clinched the 1993 World Series for the Toronto Blue Jays

Back in the 80s the Orioles used to have a million dollar jackpot on their local network to one randomly drawn fan and if an Oriole hit a grand slam then the random fan won the million bucks.

I was just a kid and was watching that game and me and my brothers were like, pft, no way Gary Roenicke is gonna hit a grand slam, he sucks.

But he hit a grand slam and the fan got the million.

That's back in 1984 (versus the Yankees) when the million bucks was at least close to being worth a million bucks, too.

I won't forget the Kirk Gibson's home run in the 1988 World Series. I was rooting for the A's. Well, it was more about being against the Dodgers.

The one that I remember most fondly took place in the middle of a season, in a game that meant nothing, on Sunday July 11, 1999. It was a million-dollar grand slam by Jay Bell. Here is a short explanation:
