Before the 2025 Atlantic Hurricane season, AccuWeather said the conditions would be "super-charged" and "potentially explosive."

I'd guess it's probably because the National Weather Service was closed during the Schumer Shutdown. It was nice having no rain, sleet, snow, tornado, heat warnings, hurricanes or other forms of weather for 43 days.

But now that it's back open, I expect we'll have weather again soon.

Climate change is going to kill us all, just not this year. I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that next year the climate will change. Some parts of the world will get more snow than they usually get and some parts of the world will get less snow than they usually get. Same thing with rain, hurricanes, and the amount of sun. Anyone care to make any bets with me?
