O.K.

I don't like Sotomeyer as a judge.

But I read this and thought.....good for her....good for them.

This article was about A.C. Barett.......

Barrett said her family has “adjusted just beautifully” to the pressures of her being on the court, but she has found it personally challenging to constantly travel with a security detail of U.S. Marshals.

She also relayed that she and fellow Justice Sonia Sotomayor are doing a PBS show on the topic of civility, and that she attempts to keep alive her New Orleans roots by eating gumbo and jambalaya at home.

Barrett is civil. Sotomayor is not. She's always ripping conservatives on the court.

She does not like being in the minority. I get it.

But I still give them credit for working together.

Many people don't know this, but Ginsburg and Scalia were considered to be very good friends.

I would have had a hard time not running over her had she walked in front of my car......but I gave them both credit for being able to look past differences and still be human.

That is my point here.

At some point America must become unified again. This is a start.

She's where all lunatic Democrats should be, in the minority. Then they can STFU!
This thread is about a collaboration that (based on it's title) fills a big need.

What don't you like about Sotomeyer OP?

Where were Scalia's US Marshalls when he was being murdered dying of a heart attack?

Can you cite an example?

Yep...her "urgings in looking at Dobbs" were completely out of line.

The stench she references is the stench of Roe itself. A case that should never have been heard by the SCOTUS in the first place and the simply awful decision it produced (May Harry Blackmun suffer the worst indigestion possible for his awful reasonsing).

The conservatives sent it to where it was to begin with...the states. Everyone understood that until moron Burger and Co. decided to play heros.

Want a national abortion law.....PASS AN AMENDMENT.

Can you cite an example?

And I did.

And that is all you get.

This thread is about her collabortion with Barrett.

Something I applaud. My distaste for her opinions are only background to show I admire the effort the two of them are making together.

Seems we can learn that ideology isn't a reason to not work on the things you agree on.

She probably wouldn't have to travel around with a security detail of US marshals if the left hadn't been inciting violence against conservative Supreme Court justices.

Do not care for Barrett,
will go along with ANYTHING that promotes working together over having an angry divided country.
