I don't get this. I would just spray the crowd with Agent Orange. When I was their age, I had far better sense than to get involved in polarized groupthink liberal political activity. Look, they even all chant the same crap en masse.

Outside agitators?

Mostly.

4 pro-Palestinian protesters arrested at University of Michigan Diag rally

". . . Of the four protesters, three were unaffiliated with the university, while a fourth was called “a temporary employee,” according to university police Deputy Chief Melissa Overton.

“A group of approximately 50 individuals sought to disrupt a university event and were asked to disperse,” she shared in a university statement. “For more than an hour, they were given multiple warnings that made clear they were blocking pedestrian traffic and violating university policy. Most eventually dispersed, although some refused to leave and, as a result, four people were arrested. None of the people who were arrested were students.”

The Wednesday protest took place at Festifall, a university event where student organizations advertise to recruit new students. The protesters allege they complied to an order by police to get up from the ground, proceeding to march in a circle.

This video posted to X shows police arresting one of the protesters.

“We were astonished at the level of violence and brutality on the Diag yesterday,” junior Assmaa Eidy, said on behalf of the protesters at an Aug. 29 protest at the Division of Public Safety and Security building, 1239 Kipke Drive, that demanded the release of one of the individuals.

Just before noon Thursday, the last remaining detained protester was released, protesters said in a social media post.
University police said the arrests were an enforcement of the new disruptive protest policy, which was made last spring despite heavy criticism and pushback from student protesters and supportive faculty.. . . "
