B-52 crash kills 8 people

It was on a test flight, and those can be dangerous, but they were only testing radar, allegedly. They had at least 2 civilians onboard, maybe more. There is nothing much left of that plane but a pile of ashes.

Edwards was still flying the B-52 that was used as the mothership for the X-15 tests. I saw it at an air show there about twenty years ago. I hope this crash wasn't that aircraft as it was a historical artifact of early spaceflight.
