Obama had weaponized the Justice Department at police. While he freed drug dealers, the DOJ would roll into town after every racist BLM protest/riot and intimidate police departments and local municipalities. Local police departments were crippled and the Ferguson Effect took hold nationwide. Those police departments, like Ferguson, that resisted were targeted with smear investigations.

If Sessions can get this done, police departments can get back to work. And some of the worst pro-crime damage that Obama inflicted on communities and police officers can be washed away like a bad stain.

I got to say that I agree with this! I don't support my party on their attacks on cops over the deaths of obviously violent people(Trayvon, Brown, ect) that in "most", not all cases did something to merit the shooting.

The fact is cops and especially the court system are way too lenient when it comes to criminal behavior of non-whites. So many repeat offenders on the streets.

It is not just the cops who have suffered from Obama's idiocy. When cops become so worried about prosecutions and lawsuits that they hesitate to take action, crimes increase and the poor who are the most frequent victims of crime suffer so that the very people Obama would claim to be helping suffer the most from his policies.
