The fact that whites do not make the most money in this Nation belies your argument.
Indians, some African immigrants and Asians, all have higher median household income levels than whites.
Perhaps the reason for African Americans being lower on the income scale is the Fatherless, welfare subsidized existence being foisted on them by the Democrat Party ever since the 1960s.
Before that?
The black community was actually doing quite well, economically speaking.
Asians/Asian Pacific racial minorities do not make more money than white people, nor do they have as long a the life expectancy. Since Trump started hating on the Chinese, and the "China Flu", hate crimes, mass shootings, and street violence against Asians has sky rocketted as well.
Given that Republican "zero tolerance" and minimum sentencing policies since 1981 increased the number of prisoners in federal prisons tenfold by 2009, with the vast majority of that increase being among young black and brown males, even as crime rates in the USA have steadily declined during the same period, Republicans have a lot of damn gall to complain about "fatherless children in the black community", doncha think?????.
"Perhaps the reason for African Americans being lower on the income scale is the Fatherless, welfare subsidized existence being foisted on them by the Democrat Party ever since the 1960s."
This sentence is a bald faced lie. Every word of it. Less than 20% of black people lived in poverty in the USA in 2021. That means that more than 80% - the vast, vast majority of black Americans, are neither poor, nor living on welfare.
In 2023, **** percent of Black people living in the United States were living below the poverty line, compared to *** percent of white people.

Furthermore, surveys have shown that even when their parents aren't married, which is also common in white families these days, 50% of black children live with their both parents who are living in a committed common law relationship. Given that 40 - 50% of all marriages for all races end in divorce, none of children of divorce are living with their fathers either. In addition, 70% of all black children have a relationship with their father, regardless of the status of their parents' relationship.
Black fatherhood has been blamed for racial disparities—but evidence demonstrates that the majority of Black fathers are active, involved parents.
