At This Point, Let the Dems Own It

At this point I think I should root for the House to go narrowly to the Dems and the Senate as well.

Two more years of this. Let the voters really get what they voted for. Why not? America deserves it in spades. It will be Joe Biden unleashed. Who doesn't want more inflation, illegals pouring over the border, high gas prices? The liberals can abort their babies, so they're happy.

Really.

They could do it, too. CNN has it at 203-211

COME ON DEMS

Get what you are hoping for, and own it all

They aren't just owning it, they are taking it.

As some predicted after 2020, with the mail-in ballots the GOP will never run government again. It will require real election reforms as the Dems gaslight their citizens into believing that secure, honest elections is "vote suppression".

The media won't say a word since Neo-Cons and Dems are one party now, thus, America is a one party state with open borders and expanding debt. Thus, election reforms are impossible, the political monarchies like it this way, their children will inherit the throne. The poor citizens will inherit a weakened dollar and high debt interest payments.

The best case scenario is that the Turtle is thrown out of politics, he has done nothing but hurt his own part,y but that's small consolation for what has happened in the U.S in a few short years. The RvW ruling that some cheered was designed to achieve just what it did, to help the Dems who were on the mat. It accomplished its goal.

I think the young people who think the Republicans are the big bad meanies should get exactly, precisely what they voted for.

Full Democrat control. Let them see what the Democrats do with college loan forgiveness, for just one issue.

Well Biden did pass--among other things-- BBB, the Infrastructure deal, a military pay raise, stimulus packages that actually made a difference. He and the Congress have authorized aid packages for Ukraine that have beat back the Soviets--something nobody thought would happen.

So yeah, the Dems should get 2 more years of total control. It's been refreshing to see proposals and laws proposed, voted on (and voted down in some cases--those are the breaks) and passed. We didn't see that with the Republicans. If the GOP gets control of the House, we'll see no more of that. We will see government shut downs and fights over the debt ceiling yet again. Remember how much fun those were?

Anyway, the Dems have proven they can govern; you may not agree with what they passed (some of which I don't). But it is good to see the root function of the Congress active once more. If it wasn't for gerrymandering which essentially eliminated Democratic seats in red states...it would be interesting to see what the true breakdown would have been.

Biden passed inflation.

Young people want more of it.

They deserve it, and I think they should have it. I hope they sweep everything. The Democrats.

I hope you're right about the Dems keeping control but you're wrong, I think, that things in the US will get worse. The effects of the pandemic, here and abroad, will be long gone, and Putin will be long gone too. Economies are cyclic, bad economies get better and good economies get worse.

My only disappointment if the GOP is not in control of the House is that America won't get to see their real policies to make America better: Hunter investigations and, possibly, a Biden impeachment. GOP healthcare or drug plan? Not a chance. Comprehensive GOP immigration reform? Nope.

Look at your signature line.

Full Democrat control is exactly what this nation deserves. Precisely and exactly.

Governing means looking out for the future in a logical, common sense manner, not just looking to spend more for the current term. That is what Western governments now deem "governance", "we don't make decisions, we just spend more and more, larger government and debt".

Americas enemies have a much longer timeframe, one they presume will be ripe without U.S being a Super Power. Those who spend their nation into oblivion and don't care to even defend their border increases the certainty of their estimation.

You missed the point of Tuesday. It was a rejection of crazy. Of MAGA. And yes, young people came out to vote...against crazy.

Democrats have their issues. But the Republican party has descended into full blown fascism and belief in conspiracy theory.
For that reason alone, I don't want to see them in power until they eject the crazy from their party.

Fear not, I believe the Republicans will hold on to the House...narrowly. Maybe not with 218 seats. Either way, it will be fun to watch
Republicans do NOTHING again for two years. :)

Investing a trillion dollars in Infrastructure is one way to do that. The blob wanted to do it during his administration. He failed.

Biden succeeded. Or are you now going to pretend that infrastructure spending is a bad thing?

You convinced people that was true about Republicans.

Good for you.

Now I hope your people cheat so well you own it all.

Funny, not one single Democrat has come out to full-throatedly say THIS IS A GREAT IDEA!!!

Because you know your policies and ideas suck and will only lead to more pain. We all know that. The only way you win elections is to terrify and demonize.

Okay, you win. Give the people what they want. God knows America deserves it.

/----/ Apparently those "kitchen table" issues no longer matter. The democRAT party has turned to tribalism and voting for anyone, brain dead or not, a complete failure or not, with a D after their name is all that matters.

I hope the Dems sweep everything and your people pass more legislation that costs trillions and trillions of dollars.

Give the people what they want!!!

Don't forget college loan forgiveness. You want that, right?

Precisely.

They turned out the vote. The Democrats don't REALLY want to own it all. Listen to the libs on this thread. They do not--and for good reason.

Man oh man, but I hope they do pull out the House. That would be the best scenario at this point

Inflation is a world-wide issue, not just he US. Those are the breaks in a global economy where demand has exceeded supply.
But what are you going to say if inflation goes down without significantly increasing unemployment? Would you give Biden credit? Probably not.

They could do it, too. CNN has it at 203-211

Wow, love the bitterness, Islamophobic Twat. I guess Jesus didn't come through for your prayers every night.

Or young people just look at the box of homophobia, misogyny, racism and plutocracy that is the GOP, and decided they wanted none of that. Who can blame them?

Here's the real problem the GOP has. For years, it has gotten the white working class to vote against their own economic interests by playing on their racial, religious and sexual fears. The Young people simply didn't buy into that, they were taught better.

But keep telling yourself that it was about Student Loan Forgiveness and Abortion.

No, government overruns, corruption and lack of accountability of money spent is a bad thing.

You spent I believe $5T in two years. Let's be more succinct and direct, America is headed to insolvency. When that happens, those large, powerful nations who are NOT in such a poor economic situation will win and consolidate the nations of the world.

The Establshment in both parties simply don't care. You appear to be a monarchy again, whether you know it or not.
