They are not going to purposely act against their own national interest. Now it's understandable and probably sensible to say that the money Putin is making from oil sales to India is propping up his war effort. My question is why should that be India's problem? In one of the most impoverished nations on earth per capita cheap energy and also a resaleable product that brings in revenue is not something that's going to be easily dismissed.

No problem. The U.S and Europe won't act against their interests either. Hit them with a tariff as payment for their funding of the war.

If the war becomes a world war or a nuclear armageddon one day, do the wealthy elites in India believe their money will have any value when they are stuck in an underground bunker for years?

I know very little about the elite classes in India. I am assuming that the president of India probably comes from one of them though. Even though they have modernized I believe they still observe a shadow caste system. As remarkably cruel as it seems, the upper classes or upper castes do not concern themselves whatsoever with the suffering of lower. It's hard to say what India will do.... However I do not think you're going to persuade them away from the purchase of cheap Russian oil.

I could be wrong of course but I really do believe they will continue to do business as per their sovereign interests.

I'm not sure if Trump can hit them with tariffs big enough to make a difference.

We Should Join with Russia in Fueling the Economic Growth of India and China

A united purpose would make all four countries richer. The Globalists fear that; it would threaten their One World, Third World Order run by guillotine-fodder transnational HeirHeads.
