President Trump occasionally says things that are idiotic. And of course the Media are always keen to quote him in a way that furthers this perception - because they are totally compromised.

But based on his tangible actions, many in the face of rabid opposition in Congress, the Media, Academe, and so on, he was our best President of the past 70 years, at least.

It is sad that his detractors always react publicly to these stray statements, but rarely confront Trump's formal actions as President, most of which were fully supported by the American people.

The next President will ideally be someone who will continue to implement Trump's initiatives, regardless of who it is.
