I have heard this several times at some wide intervals and I guess from just Republicans posting that. Of course I personally believe there is no true thing as a real democracy in the strict meaning. But this country (the US) was started with aspiration to be a democracy, and I would say it still would be aspiring to be so, but for this administration we have now and those all who support it. That isn't such a good thing.
Go ahead and list names of those judges with those shown right here having violated the law who are the ones arrested. It is already clear they were against the ambitions of this administration, and that should not be against the law, it is perversion of justice to make the law about the position against executive ambitions.

The word democracy appears nowhere in the Constitution or Declaration of Independence because it was the last thing our Founding Fathers wanted.
A democracy protects the interests of the majority, not the minorities. It's mob rule.

All the approaches that were taken by any tyrant in modern history are such that Trump had been doing. No public dissenters are safe whether politician or journalist. His supporters who say they do not see this have the wool over their eyes.

The child, Martir Garcia Lara, has been a student at the school since first grade. He attended an immigration hearing with his father on May 29th in Houston, Texas. Rather than receiving an update on the dad's immigration status as expected, both of them were detained by ICE. They were then cruelly separated from each one.
One can only imagine the terror that the little boy felt being torn away from his father.
"We have not received any information on why they were detained," said King. "All we know is that Martir is just a fourth-grader who’s by himself, without his dad, without a parent, and just in a place that he probably doesn’t know, so we can only imagine what he might be feeling."
Members of the PTA have reached out to local, state, and federal authorities for help. They say that they are ready and willing to help with legal and financial assistance should the boy and his father require it.
This tragic story is unfortunately just one of many occurring all across the country as Trump cracks down on peaceful families in an effort to pander to his hateful, xenophobic base. Innocent lives are being destroyed every day for political gain.

As more Americans learn about the proposals, massive cuts to healthcare, nutrition assistance, and more, and most embarrassing of all, maybe the personal one, his breakup with his billionaire best friend, Elon Musk.
By last Friday, Trump was drowning in negative headlines. And so, just as he's done throughout the years, when all else fails, when everything is going bad, he turns to the same tired playbook: attack immigrants, blame immigrants, and manufacture a crisis to try to change the news cycle. So on Friday, he ordered these ICE raids across California. Think about it. You saw the images: Agents in full combat gear, not just targeting violent criminals. That's what he talked about during the campaign. What he's done in practice is very different.
They're sweeping through workplaces and small businesses in communities throughout Los Angeles and elsewhere. And so, yes, when Californians took to the streets to peacefully protest, he then escalated the situation, bypassing the governor and local leaders by federalizing and deploying the National Guard the first time a president has done so since 1965 — think President Lyndon Johnson and the Civil Rights Movement. And since then, Trump has arrested SEIU California President David Huerta for peacefully protesting, and charging him with conspiracy to impede an officer. That's not what happened. We all saw the video. He's threatened to arrest the governor of California, and now he's mobilized hundreds of Marines to deploy to Los Angeles without providing any factual or valid justification to do so. This is dangerous territory. Servicewomen and men are trained to fight wars overseas, not to police communities here in the United States, but that's exactly what Donald Trump wants. He wants to create theatrics. He wants a viral clip of a protest to turn chaotic so he can justify his crackdown on immigrants and distract from his own failures. He's testing the boundaries of his power.
And my message to the country today is this: What's happening in California is not just a threat to California. It's not just a threat to immigrant communities. It's a threat to everybody because an attack on anyone's rights is an attack on everyone's rights. And no matter where you live or what your background, don't think that anybody is insulated from Trump's actions. If Donald Trump can bypass the Governor of California to activate the National Guard and suppress immigrant rights, he'll do whatever he wants to suppress other rights, too. And if he can deploy Marines to Los Angeles, he can deploy them to any city in America. And if you can bypass due process, declare lawful residents, criminals, subject to deportation, and disappear them to foreign countries without even giving them an opportunity to make their case, what's to stop him from doing the same to any of us?

One would imagine that parents would consider the effects their criminal activity would have on their children. Martir Lara is not alone. Many children whose parents are criminals undergo the same trauma. Perhaps the answer answer is to have an enhancement of sentence if the criminal is a parent.

It is your own thinking of what constitutes violent criminal behavior. There is such violent criminal behavior observable from ICE agents that are on par with the Gestapo and the KGB.

There are known examples of ICE grabbing citizens with appearance as basis. Without trials there is not justice. It is racist at its base. And the border police state is expanding and killing basic freedoms like due process and free speech, using illegal immigrants to justify it. It is the same development with any totalitarian state. This is not the direction anyone wanting a safe society would desire.
