For those of you that have said that I am a liar and worse about how the guns are getting into the hands of the Cartels, here is a well thought out article about the subject.

We are talking about hundreds of thousands of quality weapons each year transferring from just Texas to the Mexican Cartels along with the parts to construct automatic weapons. It's worth hundreds of millions of dollars to the Gun Manufacturers who use the NRA and others to block legislation which is on the House floor to allow the US Customs to more openly deal with the problem. It's not about the 2A and privately owned and purchased guns, it's about criminal activities that illegally get around our laws. It's sad that even when the authorities know that an individual is doing it, there is nothing they can do about it except hope that that individual gets stopped and searched in a random stop at the border by either the US Border Patrol (who is not really looking hard at things headed south) or the Mexican Border Patrol which is overwhelmed. And before you go into your tired old "But what about Obama", the Obama gun bungle was equiv to about a weeks worth of normal gun smuggling of the same weapons.
