As if we need more evidence of climate change, but this is worth noting, even some rugged tough cacti in my yard are suffering, not a drop of rain for FIVE consecutive months. I'm seriously dreading this coming summer:

Meanwhile the Midwest is experiencing below normal temperature.

Gfy. Did globull warming cause the dust bowl in the 1930s? Save your fckn bullshit, toad

The dust bowl was partly caused by human activity. The climate one hundred years ago had had far far less CO2 injected into it than we get today so why would you expect climate change to be a factor in 1930?

This is from the article I cited above:

Last year was the hottest year ever recorded on the planet, surprising even climate scientists who have long been warning about the threats of global heating.

In Phoenix, scores of records were broken including the longest-ever heatwave with 113 consecutive days over 100F, and a 39-day stretch when the night-time temperature did not drop below 90F. The impact of heat is cumulative and the body only begins to recover when temperatures drop below 80F.

If you think the claims about climate change are based on breaking records like this you'd be wrong. The claims about climate change are based on carefully crafted model of the earth's atmosphere, something well understood and quite different to the weather.

Climate is not chaotic like weather and climate is very well behaved and stable and cyclic, when the way the climate changes itself begins to change then we have what we have, the beginnings of a dying planet.

I'm unsurprised you reject climate science, like all trumpanzees you reject science and rationality and common sense.

Jesus Christ you're fckn stupid

Save it, nature is nature and weather is weather
The article says "on record" LMAO, how long have records been kept? What was the cause cited in 1972 when there was 160 days without rain? This ridiculous panic garbage about a drought in the desert is just that---GARBAGE.

It's the fucking desert.....lmao

Phoenix is a sunny desert city with an average annual rainfall of 7.2in, according to NWS data from the past 30 years. In 2024, there was only 4.5in after a poor monsoon and no winter rainfall. The annual rainfall has been below average for the past six years.

Tell me oh dunce-bag, for the sake of argument, if the climate was becoming less stable, what would you expect to observe? what kinds of things would we notice? what do you think would be the initial early signs?

Clearly not. Why wasn't there any "climate" hysteria in 1972? Put your tin hat on, it will protect you from the sky falling on your pin head.
