The only thing going on right now is the alt-right is Trump's base and they are now demanding their spoils of war. And the fact that conservative radio and tv is supporting the Nazis and White Supremacists, as the 'president' is by trying to claim 'well everyone's exactly the same and has the same blame and there are people just like the Nazis on the left, is just taking the false equivalency to it's conclusion.

Conservatives have grabbed on to the false equivalency with both hands and they are running the hundred yard dash with it. What is the benefit? They get to claim, no matter what they say or do, "well someone else does it so it doesn't matter what we do it's all one big pile of shit". And this is the dangerous part. It gives the person using this fake argument the right to do absolutely anything. "It doesn't matter what we did or what we do, or what we say, someone else said or did so and so and that allows us free reign".

It is the exact same 'get out of jail free card' that religion provides violent people. It doesn't matter to them that they are doing hideous things, their religion allows their actions.

This is how ignorant lazy people convince themselves they are never wrong and are always justified in anything they do.

There is no 'alt-left'. That is a hastily constructed false equivalency meant to give the alt-right, and by extension conservatives on the whole, cover for a murdered woman and now the piece of shit they voted for the freedom to be a Nazi sympathizer.
