Since when is any member of a political party expected to vote your position 100% of the time? Votes on legislation are split even within parties every day, and prior presidents make a joke about it and then have the holdover to coffee the next day to try to butter him up even more for the next time. This is how politics is done.
But Trump has made disagreeing with him an intensely personal thing, where he goes from zero to a hundred in two seconds, from being your friend to being a "bad person," the "worst person," a traitor and a terrible human being. Same with MTG.
In all my years following politics very closely, I have never heard any president or even politician talk this way. Even George Bush Jr. was famously a charmer who'd make a joke and then say fuggit let's go get a game of golf. They may not get anything done but at least you kind of get a feeling that grown-ups are in charge.
Can Congress order a psychiatric evaluation of a president? I know, I have no faith in head shrinkers either, but something has to be done. We may be literally following this man off a cliff.
"Massie is a conservative lawmaker but has run afoul of Trump for leading the approval of legislation forcing the release of Justice Department documents about the accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Massie also voted against Trump's tax-cut legislation last year and to halt the war on Iran, a resolution that failed.
“He’s the worst person," Trump said of Massie at a rally at Verst Logistics in Hebron, Kentucky. "Massie is a complete and total disaster as a congressman and frankly as a human being.""
"Donald Trump's previous comments on Marjorie Taylor Greene have come back to haunt him after he withdrew his support for the longtime MAGA ally in a scathing crashout on social media.
During a Georgia rally ahead of the 2020 election, the president described Greene as someone he would "never, ever want to have" as his "enemy". But on Friday, Trump turned on the Republican Congresswoman in spectacular fashion, branding her "wacky" and a "ranting lunatic.""

Who's 'the worst person'? Trump trashes maverick Massie on visit to his state
Trump called Rep. Thomas Massie, a Kentucky Republican, a 'disaster' who voted against key initiatives such as tax cuts and the war on Iran.
