You got it. Dumb is probably too strong a word. Either they are misinformed about what will impact their lives or they simply would rather have someone who supports policies that make their lives worse but talks like they talk. I hope its the second where they consciously voted to make their life worse, at least then I know it is their will as opposed to being hoodwinked.
