I thought they reached rock bottom when they let Bin Laden go and stopped looking for him.
But now they want to send armed patrols through American neighborhoods to scare Americans into, what?
They want to frighten American Muslims into helping Isis, not helping us. Republicans want to force American Muslims into supporting Isis. They are hoping this will lead to attacks here in America so they can take over the country.
It actually seems like a very good plan and might actually work. We could be seeing a new white America with Republicans in charge. They will follow their version of the constitution. They could finally kill the gays.
After that, it's a short road to the "End Times". Just a push of a button.
That's why the Far-Right Christians support Israel. It's not about liking the Jewish people and caring about their culture. Christian evangelicals believe the Jews are going to hell.
American Evangelicals cheer pro-Israel talking points because they want to speed up Armageddon.
The Dome of the Rock is the end zone and American Evangelicals are pro- anything they think will move the ball in that direction.
Yes, their "strategy" is based on the Revelations -- an example of allegorical fiction that was included in the collection of letters, poetry, and fiction called the New Testament. Apocalyptic fiction was popular back in 300 AD, like the Stephen King of Mesopotamia, the early Christians liked those stories, and an example was included when the bible was assembled. Now 2000 years later, Evangelicals watch TV shows in which current events are seen as the fulfillment of a prophecy.
Maybe 2000 years from now, people will read The Stand and look for signs of the coming end.
