Are DNA Tests Legitimate?

They've freed convicted murderers and rapists based on DNA tests. Should we be so quick to believe the "science"???

Wow. Assuming that video is legit, that org needs to be investigated by uncorrupt, legal types without any profit connection. I've read about a few cases where relatives sent in their DNA and the results led to the arrest of those who'd allegedly committed crimes without prior detection. Every thing needs to be questioned nowadays when massive fraud can lead to major profit if undetected. I'm not saying this org isn't legit, just needs to be checked out-but maybe it has been?

There are DNA specialists, and DNA charlatans and scammers.

ALL of these places that claim they can test your DNA to see who and where you come from are all frauds. They don't have the means, nor the capabilities to test every persons DNA.....it would run them in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

What they do is create your samples and then base them off information already stored in a generic computer program set up for reading DNA samples.

Unless you go to an actual DNA laboratory and have them do a full workup on your DNA, which will cost a couple thousand bucks or more, the info you get from these "ancestry" places is BS.

haha so funny you mentioned that, and I think there is still a crowd that subscribes to that...I don't claim to know anything about it other than I'd make one horrible bald woman...I have a bone that sticks out near the base and on top of my skull is a dented flat spot haha I'd be famous for sure but not in a good way
