It's funny. I just caught an interview with Ted Nugent last night and he pointed out some amazing facts:
Did you know that the AR-15 round is so meager that in 30 states, its isn't allowed to be used for hunting deer because it likely won't kill it? Another thing he pointed out is that research shows that a shotgun with 00 buckshot would be far more effective for killing in these schools, so if the Left is successful in banning AR-15s that these kids start going to other types of weapons, they are only likely to succeed in INCREASING THE MURDER RATE.
Right now, the weapon of choice is the trusty AR 15
Those “tiny rounds” seem to be quite effective in slaughtering school children
Wrong.....the majority of mass shootings are done with pistols...the worst school shooting in the country, Virginia Tech, was done with 2 pistols....murdering 32 people......
And a muslim terrorist in Nice, France, using a rental truck murdered 86 people...
800lb gorilla in the room
Most of our 30,000 gun deaths are done with pistols
If we really want to impact our gun carnage, we need to restrict access to handguns
Your concerns seem less to do with carnage and more to do with an unhealthy fear of guns. If you were able to eliminate guns altogether, carnage would just be carried out with other weapons. People are adaptive, and crazy people are just as adaptable as sane people. The core problem is mentally unhealthy people, not the weapons they choose to carry out their fantasies.
Yet, we have a murder rate five times that of countries with gun control
And that has nothing to do with our gun control laws.....our gun crime rates are going down, their gun crime rates are going up....you have been shown the information over and over......
Their criminals do not commit murder......they have more and more guns but don't use them to commit murder....
Britain...banned guns....

Gun crime in London increases by 42% - BBC News
Gun crime offences in London surged by 42% in the last year, according to official statistics.
Violent crime on the rise in every corner of the country, figures suggest
But analysis of the figures force by force, showed the full extent of the problem, with only one constabulary, Nottinghamshire, recording a reduction in violent offences.
The vast majority of police forces actually witnessed double digit rises in violent crime, with Northumbria posting a 95 per cent increase year on year.
Of the other forces, Durham Police recorded a 73 per cent rise; West Yorkshire was up 48 per cent; Avon and Somerset 45 per cent; Dorset 39 per cent and Warwickshire 37 per cent.
Elsewhere Humberside, South Yorkshire, Staffordshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Wiltshire and Dyfed Powys all saw violence rise by more than a quarter year on year.
London now more dangerous than New York City, crime stats suggest
While both London and New York have populations of around 8 million, figures suggest you are almost six times more likely to be burgled in the British capital than in the US city, and one and a half times more likely to fall victim to a robbery.
London has almost three times the number of reported rapes and while the murder rate in New York remains higher, the gap is narrowing dramatically.
United States...
We went from 200 million guns in private hands in the 1990s and 4.7 million people carrying guns for self defense in 1997...to close to 400-600 million guns in private hands and over 17 million people carrying guns for self defense in 2017...guess what happened...
