I am keenly aware of autism as my grandson is on the spectrum.

When I saw the title "April", I was hoping to find a story about a past love by that name. Perhaps she tragically passed one night due to an unfortunate marital aid accident, thereby throwing OP into an emotional black abyss where he experimented with drugs and gay prostitution for years. Then, he was rescued by a Mormon woman with a speech impediment. She got him off the streets, nursed him to health, and showed him the love and compassion that he had never before received in his life. No longer a complete and total degenerate, OP was resurrected, just like you-know-who. Her name was May.

Unfortunately, May was killed by a hit and run driver on her way home from the gun range. Again, OP fell into a desperate state. This time it was cocaine and human trafficking. Eventually, extreme waves of guilt enveloped him at the foggy recollection of gunning down an entire family of migrants from Venezuela. But he could not be sure if it happened or not, because he was stoned out of his mind. Pretty soon OP returned to his prior work as a male prostitute.

Then one day, he met a pretty young lass. She was a Bondage Mistress who moonlighted as a voodoo priestess. She got OP off the streets and nursed him back to health with a steady diet of Colon Cleanse and Tactical Yoga. They fell in love and had a child. Her name was June. Unfortunately, June kept a dark secret from OP: She was a Satanist. She sacrificed their child on an alter decorated with the sign of Baphomet.

OP was devastated! He could not get back to the cocaine and male prostitution fast enough. It has become his safe space. It was all he had now: DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK DICK .........

Nobody saw much of OP after that. Some said he had passed away. Some thought he had moved to Eurasia to work on a sugar cane plantation. But nobody ... NOBODY would have thought that he would have shown up as a school teacher. How in the heck did THAT happen?!? Therein lies the interesting part of OP's story.
