I actually want to make my own Christian T shirt but one group refused to print it.
Hey Chuckt
you can make your own designs
without relying on other people.
At Wal-Mart or any other craft store
you can buy blank sheets to make iron-on transfers for T-shirts.
When you design the artwork on your computer,
you just have to remember to flip the design backwards, left to right,
before printing onto these sheets so they iron-on forwards.
(And you have to test the printer ink to make sure it works with the special paper,
and follow the iron-on instructions, which are fairly easy.)
There are different types for light T-shirts or dark fabric, and some are "sticker patches"
that you can sell for people to put on anything they want to. Once you make
a prototype, you might have better luck promoting or selling your idea.
If you want some other artist to design a logo or print the transfers or T-shirts
for you, this isn't hard to find online. Etsy used to be popular for hiring graphic artists
(who generally are NOT picky but are happy to get paid work)
and zazzle.com if you want to set up your own shop and have their staff do the
actually printing work for whatever you design and post. now there's Pinterest or other sites, too.
If you need funding, there are multiple sites for that, from gofundme to youcaring.
Don't self-censor your own creativity! Find a partner or co-conspirator
and do your own thing. Lots of business ventures start with someone's
half-baked idea and take off from there. The world runs on creativity,
investing in ideas, and forming teams around them. Go for it!
