Okay but I'm still never buying anything other than their iPhones (used ones at that). Their products are overpriced and have inferior compatibility with a lot of software.

/----/ It's a great commercial, but a spin-off of a Kodak ad from the 1960s. Back when ads were two minutes long. It's certainly not original.

I don't think there's anything I care about LESS than the race of people in....TV commercials.

Is there a link to the article that explains the title to this thread? You know, the one about Apple being in "deep trouble?"

Or is the thread title just so much bullshit click bait?

Hating gays and minorities is not going to bring back the white privilege you miss so badly.

Corporations have been making war on the White Middle Class for the last 40 years, and that will just get worse under Trump.

And you will be cheering it on all the way.

It was a decent commercial but your point may be as bad as the one the democrats try to make.
.

That's what most families look like in my neck of the woods. I appreciate the ad.

Well, yeah. I've never bought an Apple product and this ad is unlikely to inspire me to do so. I think my late hubby had an IPhone, but I wouldn't bet money on that. It went out into the garage when he died and I haven't seen it since.

Today's advertising is so full of Black&White couples, mixed race people, non-binaries, and obvious sexual irregulars, that it is a little bit surprising to see a White FAMILY showcased in a lengthy commercial. Indeed, it seems racist to present such an oddity.

It is not so long ago when it was considered so obvious as to not be worth mentioning that the most successful couples (in terms of a lifetime marriage) were the ones who had the most things in common - same religion, tastes, preferences, ethnic background, and RACE. Now, the culture kings have decreed that this was all simply a myth.

Fortunately, only Leftists in big cities are buying it.

Is television so bad now we have nothing but the commercials to talk about? ...
/----/ Top-rated shows are being cancelled because viewership is dropping. One example is Blue Bloods. A consistent top show on broadcast TV for 25 years. But, because viewship is in the low millions, it costs too much to produce. Everyone is switching to streaming.
Not much else to watch.

I am so gratified to now be living in a small Midwest town and attending a church in which the norm is couples who have been married for many decades and have parented many children. One couple who live just a block from me recently celebrated their 70th anniversary of being married in that same church, and have nine children. They are also largely farmers who are working on the third and fourth generations of working the same farms.

Many young couples attend Mass with three or four children, often with a pregnant wife. I have never realized that I could enjoy the clamor of young children so much!

This is such a beautiful picture of STABILITY, and I love it here.

I see the leftists doing everything they can to destabilize family and drive themselves towards extinction. I see nothing wrong with this, as long as they don't get their hands on OUR children, the children of the wonderfully stable families in my town. There are many signs that the youth here see the evil in what the the leftists are doing and reject it.

When I first saw the commercial it was just a simple commercial; much do about nothing. You added in race and that is exactly what the democrats do.
You are late to the party

Until recently minorities - aka black people mostly - complained loud and often about the lack of same in TV commercials

While there was some truth to that, the pendulum has swung completely in the other direction

Blacks are now over represented

Particularly in mixed marriages where it is most often a white woman and a black man

In the real world there are mixed marriages, but not to the exaggerated extent that advertisers present them

And I personally see no reason to show homosexuals at all

America deserves better than the wokeness we are forced to endure now
