On Earth Day 2025, a moment intended to highlight the urgency of climate action, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is facing fierce backlash after being caught boarding a luxury private jet. The timing could not have been more explosive. Just as climate-conscious voters marked April 22 with calls to curb emissions, AOC, a self-described environmental warrior, was photographed stepping aboard a carbon-spewing Bombardier Challenger jet on her “Fighting Oligarchy” tour with Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT).
According to a Fox News report published on April 21, the progressive duo used the jet to leapfrog across Western states, hitting cities like Salt Lake City, Boise, Bakersfield, and Sacramento in under a week. The estimated cost? Over $77,000 for roughly five hours of flight time. That bill is allegedly being footed in part by taxpayer dollars and political committee funds, an irony not lost on their critics (Fox News).
So much for carbon footprints and climate change.....I guess that's "different" when a dem does it.
Maybe the dems can pay-off her college loan too since her meager 174K salary does not seem to be enough and the college loan grift machine shut down.
I also note that her partner Bernie Sanders has quit talking down millionaires since he became one.....Billionairs only.....Well, just certain ones.
