They are. Radicalization is happen on both sides.

"Assassination culture"? It's building up. Whether one individual is responsible, certainly the Republicans and their pro-gun stance play a huge part in it too. Also not dealing with mental health, telling men they need to be "masculine" and creating an environment of bullying and the like also helps.

This is a pretty complex topic. Obviously some people are going to make it simple and just blame the other side.

The US is turning massively partisan and there are solutions, but hardly anyone is interested in changing it.
