I don't have a link as someone posted it on Twitter but it was really moving. I always viewed him, and I don't say this to be negative per se but he laughs alot; as a salesman, but, he has a real interesting history and a belief in Americas success, he lost a brother in the 9/11 terror attack and it impacted him for many years.

There have been three profound moments to me in Trumps administration in interviews and speeches: 1) Vance telling Europe that they are destroying their countries and suppressing free speech, 2) Trumps UN speech where he said similar but also spoke about the illegal immigration and climate policies that are hurting Europe and 3) Howard Lutnick in an interview when speaking about tariffs on some nations (I think Canada was raised) when he said in a powerful manner I thought "they don't even follow our Constitution".

Now some might say, "of course they don't, they aren't America", but that one sentence was powerful in that it addresses so many issues that could ultimately drive Trump to use National Security on nations that do not and to remind Americans of the Judeo-Christian values that guide our nations. The issue of freedom is one both parties embrace for PR purposes and photo ops but what if Trump said "we can no longer just passively accept that allies of yesteryear are the same allies of 2025, they do NOT believe in due process, civil liberties, human rights etc".

Anyways, if anyone else saw it or finds it on twitter it was a long and very comfortable interview. Miranda does a good job and Howard really showed a human side. It's one we see from Trump usually when a camera catches him talking to friends as he is entirely different, but, once in awhile he is comfortable in an interview and we see a human side to him.

In short, human rights matter. They mattered when Reagan stood at the Berlin Wall and they matter today when fighting free speech and human rights of citizens in all countries, enemy or ally alike.

Lutnick is the most motivational guy. He fills me with positivity and optimism every time I hear him.

Are you talking about the Howard Lutnick who was Jeffrey Epstein's next-door neighbor for years, raised funds for Bill and Hillary Clinton, donated to Kamala Harris, and who was involved in carbon credit schemes....and who is pro-Palantir? That Howard Lutnick?

No, I didn't see his interview.

You amaze me at your inability to understand what’s going on.

Lutnick is a fanatical Zionist and Israel firster. He also had ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

MIGA!

I think he bought a property owned by Epstein, if memory serves. Interesting how he, Trump, Epstein, all ran together, pervs tend to stay close to one another, they have the same depraved interests.

I sometimes wonder if anything motivates leftwingers beyond their next bong hit.

Congressional lawmakers call for Trump Commerce chief Lutnick to resign, or be fired

Two congressional lawmakers on Sunday called on Howard Lutnick to resign amid revelations that the Commerce secretary had more extensive business and personal dealings with deceased sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein than were previously disclosed.

Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., urged Lutnick to step down after The New York Times reported the Trump ally interacted “regularly” with Epstein, according to files released by the Department of Justice relating to the notorious sex offender. Massie was the lead Republican on the Epstein Files Transparency Act that compelled the release of the Epstein files.

“He should just resign,” Massie said on CNN’s “Inside Politics Sunday.” “Howard Lutnick clearly went to the island if we believe what’s in these files; he was in business with Jeffrey Epstein, and this was many years after Jeffrey Epstein was convicted.”

He added: “He’s got a lot to answer for, but really, he should make life easier on the president, frankly, and just resign.”

The idea that Howard would resign in a regime filled with lawless, unethical, unaccountable members is ridiculous.

Lutnick might be the most loyal bootlicker Trump has, to hear him gush about Trump is truly sickening, that one man can lower himself to that level. And if that is not enough, he and Trump both shared a close relationship with Epstein. Trump don't want to lose him.

There should many resignations or firings in Donny’s administration, including himself.

Bondi and Kash who have lied repeatedly about the files should immediately go.

To me, Howard seems like one of the few who doesn't believe a word of what he says in praise of Dotard. He's just doing it for his own sake. The others, like Bondi, have a cultish quality about them.

Lutnick is the most positive motivating guy I've ever heard. It's no wonder why he's a billionaire and inspires people to greatness. Criticism of Lutnick can only be attributed to jealousy. Don't be envious. Be motivated to do better. That's what winners do.

I share your sentiment, but I don't think it should be a litmus test to distinguish enemies from allies. Many countries are ungovernable without restrictive measures.
