Anyone else notice the propensity of mixed-race couples on television commercials?

I've noticed this lately. But it always seems to be some geeky white liberal guy with a black wife, and a gaggle of mixed-race kids.

That's weird. It's almost like the advertising industry has written off black males because there's nothing more than a black male hates more, is to see a black woman with some white guy. That just seems to piss them off for some reason.

The actual interracial marriage rate is about 8%, but it's true, the rate in commercials seems to be much higher.
What is their purpose for doing that?

I think it's just easier to "reach" more people (pander to more groups)... 1 male & 1 female covers 2 out of 11 genders. 1 Caucasian and 1 Asian ( or white/black or black/asian). I think fhey're just checking boxes. They do it with homosexuals and transgendered too.

My point was that white women throw themselves at Black guys and its common knowledge.

Prior to that I thought they were diseased due to how they acted around us when our basketball team would go to their schools.

The funny thing is I have been proposed to 3 times and all of them were white girls.Those experiences taught me that there are some decent white people out there but getting married to one just wasnt for me.

Whilst we are distracted by entertainment our lives are being turned up side down by laws and policies created and enforced by power hungry, right wing extremists. We have Trump in America and the likes of Brexit which is uncovering a whole can of worms. This life is not about busting nuts right and left. That doesn't bring stable happiness just a quick serotonin spike thats it. Getting better, accomplishing things we can be proud of, earning money is what we all should chase. I'm onto my journey, might take more than 2 years but who cares ? The time will pass quickly anyway.

Don't get me wrong - A lot of non black women find black guys attractive but they just will not act on it. Deeply ingrained in them to see black guys as a non option for the most part.

Youre mixing up my original stance concerning white women with me discovering later on that there are some nice white women. So if it doesnt fit to you, then thats only because you got confused. You dont have to even date white women to find out about the cult and the Twitter tags. While I found out about the sex cult from a white woman when I was younger, I found out about Twitter thing recently from one of my daughters.

I gotta disagree. Especially in Germany. The darker you are the more they want you. They dont care if youre handsome or not. One of the guys on our team simply could not get a Black woman to date him because they all said he was ugly. He never had a problem pulling the best looking white women. These type of women typically turn out to be trouble though if their only reason is because youre Black.

I've never been a nice Christian. You have to understand my first experience with a white girl was a blowjob in the visitors locker room after a high school game. I was only 17. I didnt even know her name. Never saw or heard from her again. My mom always talked about how easy they were and how they were not clean.

Again I have to disagree. I had a lot of prerequisites for white women if it was going to be anything more than a 1 night stand. They couldnt be the type that just wanted me because I was Black because I knew that signaled some issues with reality. Just like there are good and bad Black women, the same goes for white women. The white women that proposed to me actually spent some quality time with me. The last actually being my one and only white girlfriend. When she asked me to marry her I realized it wasnt fair to date white women anymore because I knew I was only going to marry a Black woman. So not only did I say no, I broke the relationship off. It bothered me for a long time because she was a really good woman but she just could not understand what I went through daily as a Black man. She simply had no frame of reference.
