I went to The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame today and I took a lot of pictures with my phone, but when I tried to attach them in the photographs section of the message board it told me that they were too big. Does anybody know how to shrink them up?

I think its the amount of pixels they are refering to. I think there's a way but It kind of slips my mind at the moment

Zip folder

why are you kids so hard to teach?

A ZIP file is a file format that compresses one or more files into a single archive:

  • What it is
A ZIP file is a type of archive file that uses lossless data compression to reduce the size of files. This makes it easier to store and transport files, and to share them with others.

  • How to identify it
You can identify a ZIP file by its file extension, which is always .zip. The file icon will also change to indicate that it's a ZIP file.

  • How to create one
To create a ZIP file, you can:
      • Locate the files you want to compress
      • Press and hold or right-click on the files
      • Select Send to
      • Select Compressed (zipped) folder
    • How to unzip one
To unzip a ZIP file, you can:
        • Locate the zipped folder
        • To unzip a single file, drag it from the zipped folder to a new location
        • To unzip all the contents, press and hold or right-click on the folder, select Extract All, and follow the instructions
You can create ZIP files on:

    • Macs
Use the Finder app, select the files, use a two-fingered touchpad press or right-click, and select Compress
    • iPhones and iPads
Select one file to save it with the same name, or select multiple files to save them in an archive named Archive.zip
    • Windows PCs
Use File Explorer, select the files, right-click, select Show More Options, hover over Send To, and select Compressed (Zipped) Folder
ZIP files can support: Basic password protection and Strong encryption based on AES (Advanced Encryption Standard)

I better look at this all tomorrow when my mind is more awake.

soak them in a bucket of water.

Never mind, I got it working and you can see all of my pictures from yesterday here. 😁

The link did not work.

As to the "size problem", I do not know if you mean the width and height of the pixel image was too large, or that the length of the pathway link was too many characters long?

If the image is too large for some reason, (which I doubt), you can take it into a program like Paint 3D, and shrink it down.

If the path is too long, then you can copy it to an internet location, like PhotoBucket.

There are lots of photo editor programs in the Play Store. The one I use is called Photo Editor but I cannot tell which one it is in the store. There weren't so many back then.
