Believe it or not I still got my old Super Nintendo that I'm playing Lion King on right now. I don't play videogames as much as I used to as now I watch more movies than I play games but I still love doing it.

My favorite games on Super Nintendo have always been and always will be Donkey Kong. 😁 I guess it's just because I'm still a big kid at heart. 😊

Videogames are the debbil

It's sour grapes. I never was any good at any of them.

Early to mid 1980s was my peak video game play, in arcades and home console (I had an Atari 2600 back in the day).

Other than Chess and Hearts, I don't play much these days.

And aside note:
This past Monday, I met a friend of mine's grandkid (he is 6 or 7) and he had some kind of kids portable device. I tried it out and played Tetris. He was impressed by my mad skillz. I still got it.

The thing video games have over movies is interaction, more stimulating for mind and hand-eye coordination dexterity, especially as you age.

Sour grapes?

An expression.

I figured as I never heard of the game and vaguely remembered hearing it as an expression but the way you wrote it made it sound like it could have also been a game with never being any good at it. 😆

Played Doom on floppy discs. Was hooked after that. Have over 100 pc and Xbox games. Am currently playing Red Dead Redemption 2 and Fallout 4 for the umpteenth time

Well it's been many years but I finally made it back to the level that I could never beat. The stupid lava one.

The only videogames that I ever got was the first Nintendo and the first Gameboy. I still have them both however I have not played them in years.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. I do have several Super Mario T-shirts. :) :) :)

I could never beat the lava level yesterday so I'm going to need some more work with that.

I'm so glad that's what you meant by "adult video games", lol.

I have and emulator setup (razzberry pi) that plays everything from pong to need for speed.

I am a PC gamer. Have been since PC gaming became a thing.

Back in the late 1980's I had the Atarir 2600 and 5200. I played Pong, Spy Hunter, and another game (I forgot the title game) that you jumped across vines and huge boulders. I also played Donkey Kong, Pac-Man and others...

Then in the early 1990's, I had the SegaMaster.

I bought the Nitendo WII in 2000's....but it was alright. I don't play on it anymore. I still have it though....

I got my first PC in 1990 I think it was, I was a LCpl in the Marine Crops living in the barracks in Okinawa. I remember staying up all night playing Civilization I. I have played every Civ game since.

I'm really going to sound like an old fart right now but I think that my favorite systems that I ever had was Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64. Surprisingly enough my Nintendo 64 went before my Super Nintendo as that thing is about thirty years old now and it still works. 😁

The Wii was awesome for its time and amazing when my kids were still kids.

Mario Cart on the Wii might still be my favorite game ever

I remember programming my first computer program using BASIC AND COBAL language back in the 1990's! It was a school project, to make your own program. I just made a program that was simple. Making a guy walk infinitely across the screen.
