Anti-Progressive LGBT people.

I am sorry, that currently I have no time to write nanoessays. Thus my OP is somewhat brief, even though I thought about it a long time. This is about LGBT people and their relationship to Progressives.

Of course, most LGBT people are Progressive. Given that Conservatives have traditionally opposed and vilified LGBT people, most LGBT people would turn to the other side.

Some LGBT people do strongly oppose Progressive agenda. A few LGBT people are Conservatives. A few LGBT people oppose mainstream LGBT movements for one reason or another.

Importantly, there is an LGBT-specific opposition to Progressives which is unique and irreplaceable. Many transgender men are hurt by Misandry much more then cisgender men. On Reddit, transgender spaces generally strongly oppose Misandry. For many transgender men, being a man is a very important part of their identity, and vilification of men causes them great pain.

There are also gay men who take a strong stand against anti-male discrimination. Of course, many straight men such as myself also raise these issues. Nevertheless, there is a difference. As a straight man, I would never love men. Some gay men protest anti-male discrimination on behalf of themselves and on behalf of those they love.

The primary complaint by Conservatives regarding the gender issue is the demand that we allow our language to be co-opted. When someone can dictate which terms you can use, they also can dictate the "reality" you are compelled to acknowledge. The solution? Leave us alone, and most of us will cheerfully walk on by.

I think you were clear. I was merely saying that a gay person isn't necessarily going to be liberal simply because liberals are more likely to be pro-gay than conservatives. That there are two aspects that can determine political persuasion.

"Progressive" views in their totality will be totally contradictory. There are just too many of them. People try and lump everyone in to small boxes to make it easier to understand.
The US puts people into two boxes, which is absolute insanity.

What I was saying is that many transgender men and gay men are severely hurt by Progressive anti-men agenda. Many are hurt more then straight cis men.

Well, US politics is so messed up right now, I think most people are hurt by the warfare going on between right and left, each trying to outdo the other side in how freaking crazy they can push things.

I believe the courts should rule that a person’s gender is the gender stated on one’s birth certificate and the gender classification cannot be changed, period, nada, zip, never.
