I wish I could say I'm surprised by what's being reported but I'm not. Trump's outburst when Anthropic refused to allow modification to the terms of use of their software before the deadline was even reached gave me pause. Him declaring that use of Anthropic's software is now prohibited was basically the threatened follow through on the loss of $200 million to Anthropic in government contracts, but while I realized that it takes months to extricate a software product such as this from one's system, we did not know on Friday that we were mere hours away from the U.S. striking Iran.

I guess time will only tell if perhaps they were trying to get permission ahead of their plan to use it in a way that violates the terms of service (the attack against Iran) and when they didn't get it, went ahead and did what they wanted to anyway. If this report is true, then they are using it even after it was banned, which I imagine is in direct violation of their contract agreements, in the very least.

Get over it. Leftists Google and Amazon are working on Project Nimbus for the IDF.
My point isn’t about Israeli foreign cloud contracts, but your whataboutism is noted.

The issue is whether the U.S. government is currently violating Anthropic’s terms of use after Trump ordered the software banned when Anthropic refused to remove its guardrails. The article I cited says the system is still being used in the Iran operation that began only hours after Anthropic’s deadline. If that report is accurate, then either the ban isn’t being followed, or the software is being used in violation of its terms —perhaps even in the very manner Anthropic expressly forbade.

So the ban isn't being followed yet, meh. If we are using it we have a license to do so.

LOL! The Anthropic CEO can go curl up in the fetal position and suck his thumb.

I’m sure you’ll feel the same when a democrat Administration turns it on you
Are you saying that you expect a Democrat regime to be vindictive rather than following the law of equal protection and due process.

Note, the left nitwit will come back with allegations that Trump is not acting lawfully. Even with me pointing this out, he will still do it. He cannot help it. It is common to TDS sufferers.
