Indeed, this is why republicans continue to lose the votes of Hispanics and women, and lost the African-American vote decades ago as a consequence of the right's opposition to protecting civil rights.


And for decades democrats have fought for more freedom for African-Americans, women, and Hispanics, just as they fight for the comprehensive civil liberties of gay Americans today.



Consequently, the notion that republicans 'offer more freedom' is clearly delusional, partisan, and false.

We've had so many of our flags burned and students threatened for displaying it, yet they want to fly the Mexican flag and treat it as a crime if it's not respected. I am tired of people coming from other countries and bullying us because they don't like our culture or our laws. The reason legal immigrants come is to become an American citizen. That means assimilating and too many these days have no intention of doing that. Even common core English is taught in Spanish. Enough already. Maybe if more illegals would show respect and act like they want to join us instead of change us, they'd receive a better welcome.

Does the left understand that conservatives want more for people than a meager existence on welfare and don't want to encourage the mistakes people make that land them on the liberal plantation in the first place? True benevolence isn't keeping people on dependency, it's encouraging people to reach their full potential. People are much happier and much more prosperous when they are actively elevating themselves. Painting them all as victims to the point where they wait for government to save them is cruel.

Religious people on both sides of the aisle can be against gays. That's just how it is. Government could have done more on gay rights but hasn't, so evidently the left isn't as concerned as they'd lead you to believe. Besides, solving a problem means no more victims and they can't have that.

True. Even though in their hearts, they know it's true, having groups of victims is a must for liberalism to thrive. Independent people would rather just have shackles removed and follow reasonable laws. If that is how you really felt, this post of yours wouldn't exist. How lovely that you took time to pretend not to be affected. The truth hurts. The left simply won't admit that abortion is surgery and that precautions are necessary to ensure the health of the woman. The proposed plan by the left to allow non-physicians to perform the procedure and to do it in clinics far away from hospitals is negligent. You guys care more about population control by abortion than the health of women. I am sick of how the left pretends that this is the only issue that matters to women and that it's all about choice. Women have choices. Abortion and birth control are legal. That's not enough and the left wants women to have it all for free. They know offering it for free will encourage more women to do it. Most abortions are done on black women and that is the reason planned parenthood was founded. It was designed to keep the black population down to manageable levels. I don't believe for one second that anything has changed. The left sees minorities as people that need to be controlled and used, but they don't want too many of them. The left encouraged unmarried women to have more babies for the welfare. That ensured more votes for Dems because people believed that those who give you free stuff really care. They got the votes and now they want to keep the number of minorities to a minimum. Don't want more than you need, right?

Women are free to choose. Smart women have no problem finding ways to pay for their own choices. Birth control is cheaper than ever and Sandra Fluke is full of shit.

It was only in the 50's, when lefties paved a road to hell with their highly destructive social welfare programs, entrenching ghettoes, monolithic housing projects, welfare, the death of the black family, and 80% illegitimacy, that blacks accepted their role as dependents and started voting anew for their old slave-masters, the democrats.
