An Irish tourist had a medical emergency, notified his embassy and the Department of Homeland Security, yet ICE grabbed him and held him for 100 days for overstaying his visa. Is this an agency we want to have that kind of power? Homan has already said that arresting some US citizens will just be collateral damage for his campaign against undocumented workers. In other words, he is OK with the arrest of US citizens for any or no reason at all. Sounds like Germany in the 1930's.

“Disappeared?”

What a crock.

What stupid assed conclusion.

Just like all your other conclusions.

He's saying it will happen. He's not saying it's O.K.

Moron.

He came out hard as a guy looking to enforce the law. Based on comments from MAGA followers on line, he seems to be a core reason why there is less support for the deportations but this is just based on anecdotal evidence so who knows?

They have gone mad with power.

Let’s see if this is real.

What’s stupid about it?

Holman has openly said he didn’t care if his raids snare citizens.
He didn't say it was O.K.

He said it wasn't going to stop the raids.

BTW: Notice how the OP lured you into this.

The thread is about ICE grabbing someone who is here overstaying his VISA.

Then throws shade on ICE for doing their job.

If he was a foreign tourist, he wasn't a citizen and you destroyed your own point.

Sounds like his ordeal really sucked. I bet he won't overstay his visa again.

I did see that.

The Hispano haters have never wanted to even a knowledge the fact that a large portion of the “illegals” in the US are people who simply overstayed their visas.

Until the right wing supercharged illegal immigration into an obviously racist issue, no one much cared about people overstaying their visas.

Now, they’re patting themselves on the ba k over it, hoping to divert attention away from their more sinister tactics.
