To me, Jan 6th was a demonstration that developed energy and turned stupid. It was certainly not an insurrection (no guns, gas, or grenades). It just got out of hand. And those responsible for protecting things were way to slow to respond thus leaving an understaffed group to try and manage it. Some of whom were severely hurt.

As FBI director, he’s responsible for knowing hundreds of FBI were present. Omitting this is essentially a lie. Why he was not clearer suggests he’s culpable.
As far as the riot goes, it was obviously allowed if not encouraged to fester so it could be portrayed as insurrection and perpetuate the democrat propaganda against trump.
Acting as though this isn’t obvious is disingenuous to say the least.
