Now, we know there's been a "civil war" going on in the Donbas region.

Russia invaded the Crimea, it didn't just invade, it used military men without their insignia, pretending not to be Russian armed forces, but quite clearly they were, probably in case the whole thing failed.

At the same time protests started in the Donbas region. Then the Russians moved in.

The Ukraine has every right to defend its own territory.
