Another blatant penalty at the end of an NFL game not called.

I never said the game was rigged. I pointed out a RECURRING PROBLEM that is changing the outcome of games. And In this case, a very dangerous face mask where Darnold's head was jerked around before being thrown to the ground. What is wrong with you? Are you unable to process what is right in front of your face?
It was a facemask. Happens all the time. I don’t think it was intentional and it didn’t change the outcome of that game.

Also I wasn’t responding to your post

A one score game with 1:35 left? :confused-84:
8 points they were on their 5 yd line. They also missed an obvious hold so those penalties offset. So best case scenario 2nd and 10 95 yds to go 1:35 and 1 time out. Even if they get the TD they likely don’t get the 2 point conversion. But even if they do that only ties the game. So no it don’t change the outcome

Their win probability the play prior to the facemask was less than 1%.
Low probability does not change the fundamental problem. Refs ARE changing the outcomes of games late in the 4th quarter and that is the Cardinal Sin of referees and Umpires. The solution is obvious.

Except that they didn’t. Could the Vikings have tied the game? Sure there was a minuscule chance of that happening but it was minuscule. Like .1% minuscule. If you want take that and make out like that’s what decided the game and not the 58:30 other minutes where the Vikings let Stafford go off for 4 TDs and dominate every aspect of the game. Have at it I guess

You are running down the rabbit hole of one game. You just like to play contrarian, I get it. The fact is, American Football is a great game and we should push to always make it better. Allowing Refs to continue to blow calls at the end of games often changing the outcome is not and should not be acceptable to anyone who wants the game to be better.

Man at first i was gung ho excited about the NFL again when the Rams came back to LA hense my user name, but i always said they might as well say in stank louis if they were not going to wear their old classic LA colors. these LA colors are gay looking as hell.

i miss THESE good old days as well Lumpy 1

LIKE EMH said so well, fuck the NFL.

Sports was a lot more fun when you could reasonably afford the tickets. 😕
I somewhat follow the NHL.. I turned my back to the NFL and the 49ers when they went anti-American.

Minnesota marching down field and scoring and getting a two points conversion certainly would have been tough. I think most people are upset that the Vikings were denied the chance to try to drive for the tie. Obviously nobody can see what would have happened, but the Vikings should have had a chance to make the attempt. If they failed, then so be it.

True but the larger issue is the Refs ineptitude at the end of a game handed 2 points to the team that committed a dangerous foul. The foul would have moved the ball out to the 20 where it is entirely plausible that they could have scored in a minute and a half.

NFL refs are just bad, they prove it every week. We have to have reviews on calls/no calls at the end of games. Teams will potentially miss the playoffs because of a bad call/no call at the end of a game.

There is 0 chance on this earth the refs did not see that. The rest of the world did. They are being corrupted by legalized gambling. If Goodell doesn't investigate and do something he is as corrupt as well. Stop the legal gambling, they are corrupt to the core pukes ruining all sports. Only the unintelligent bet.
The NFL is embarrassing.

"It takes all of us" to get the calls wrong over and over.

Fuck the NFL. Turn off the alphabet mafia propaganda....

could not have said it better myself word for word.:dance:fuck the NFL indeed.

The holding penalty would have offset it. You don’t get one penalty without the other. So 2 and 10 at their 5
