ST. LOUIS (KMOV/Gray News) – After over 30 years of partnership, Anheuser-Busch has declined to sponsor PrideFest in St. Louis this year.

According to Pride St. Louis, Anheuser-Busch has joined several other sponsors in reducing or ending its contributions, leaving PrideFest over $150,000 short of last year’s total.

“We found out in a meeting. They decided after 30 years they would no longer sponsor our event. That hurt us very much because we are all homegrown here in St. Louis,” said Jordan Braxton with Pride St. Louis.

Without the Anheuser-Busch sponsorship, Pride St. Louis is launching a fundraising campaign.

According to a news release, the #45for45 fundraiser is a community-driven initiative to commemorate 45 years of advocacy, support and celebration of Pride in St. Louis.

“While we are deeply disappointed that Anheuser-Busch has chosen to step away from supporting PrideFest this year, we remain hopeful that the community will step up where they have stepped down,”.....

Cultural shift at AB or just a good business decision to not support mental illness?
Too late. They are forever Transheuser-Busch. ;)

If the gays boycott them then who is left to drink their swill?

tRumpist hate is spreading.

America is dying.

I hope people learn that corporations only care about their bottom line.

Bud Light thought they could sell more beer to Gen. Z and it blew up in their face. Now they are doing damage control to sell more beer. Corporations only care about anyone or anything if it makes them money.

Well, they got these things called shareholders see, and they were not amused.

I guess they’ll just have to be satisfied with meth.

A Communist Is the Son of a Capitalist

They already have plenty of money; now the fatcats only care about what their groomed kids demand of them.

When is the Netrix going to do some independent thinking? The hired Influencers only give self-serving and simple-minded explanations. We shouldn't be getting self-respect from following the opinions of high and mighty lowlife.

They are also among many corporations who are pandering to Trumps hate

It keeps getting better (or more pathetic, based on your preference)

The CEO of Anheuser Busch pitched the idea to baseball.

Can't blame A-B at all.

They were promised that pushing Bud Lite as a tranny brew would increase sales tremendously by Dylan Mulvaney.

Just didn't work, as the Tranny Community failed even to pick up the slack for the Normative beer drinkers they lost.

Cancelling the previous ideas is just common sense.

Cowardice. They lack the courage of their convictions.
It was never about convictions. It was always about public perception. They took part when they thought
it would improve that perception. Now, they don't believe it helps.

Belgian and German beers are clearly superior.

False.

You're just not drinking the right American beers. The mass produced American swill is not better than that Stella Artois crap, but there are a good number of smaller breweries and micro-breweries that are producing fantastic product.

I'm not talking about the 1,000,000 different craft beers. Sure, some are outstanding.

It isn’t a beer company’s place to make those kinds of statements one way or the other, pro-lgbtq or anti.

Just make and sell beer.
