Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo blamed climate change for damaging floods in upstate New York, and claimed that natural disasters didn’t happen before climate change.

“Ali, anyone who questions extreme weather and climate change is just delusional at this point,” Cuomo told MSNBC anchor Ali Velshi. ” We have seen in the State of New York and we have seen — it is something we never had before.”

I can't believe someone would get in front of a camera and make such a statement.

And if all it takes to flood NY is five inches of rain you have other problems.

Interesting ... we should see fewer hurricanes in the future due to Arctic Amplification (that's where the Arctic is warming twice as fast as the Tropics) ... less power to drive warm air north and cold air south ... only 50 years of satellite data, we'll have a better idea in another 50 years ...

Arctic Oscillation Correction ... that's not a well understood phenomena, very mysterious and perhaps doesn't even exist ... the AOC is currently in a positive state which is what has been bringing polar vortices, rude Swedes and snowflakes falling early this year ... how long this will stay positive is unknown ... but eventually it will go negative, to a more flat-lined moderated pattern ...

It will take some time to strip down AOC to it's bare components ... dissect and digest each little part ... maybe just a collective of hot gases in the wrong place at the wrong time ... in front of the wrong people ... best for now to treat it as so much white noise ... in 50 years no one will remember ... "11 years", I seriously doubt that, the AOC should be around much longer ...

This planet Earth has been around for millions of years. It'll exist long after we are recycled back to carbon. The Universe is constantly changing and so is this earth. We mere mortals are just along for the ride. We can't change the path.

I think he was talking about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, (AOC) the bartender turned congressional climate expert who said that the earth only has 11 years...scratch that...10 years, since she made that claim about a year ago...
