and if you think of Britain, what comes to your mind then?

The White Cliffs of Dover as seen from the Ferry taking you over.

The British Empire--upon which the sun never set~
The utter subjection of all races to the English.
The westernization and civilization of the world.
Massive opium sales to China.
The domination of India.

For 200 years...the English made the world their bitch.

A once great proud empire of headstrong, noble civilization who exported to the world one of the rarest means of influence: that of the English language.

Their creation of the Magna Carta, abiding by scientific logic for invention and an honest justice system, the spreading of the mercantile system. I think of the will to survive in the face of bombings of the city of London for nearly a year but the fortitude and morale of the British didn't wane.

It may sound corny but I am big on the internalization of visualized emotion and I like to think that half of my geneology which is second hand British has maintained that refusal to give up. It's a source of strength (among many I extract from) during difficult times. What they represent today is difficult to say as like the rest of the West, in particular Commonwealth countries; they are in decline.

Can they recover their once greatness or will they abandon all the principles that made it a global power with immense goodwill?

I rented a place in London and it came with a TV that I never used; a "detective" came in, tuned it in with the antenna and then fined me. I took it to Court, lost and was fined..the TV fee. Almost as ridiculous as some of their parking signs where the ACTUAL sign saying no parking between certain hours was in the next block. No excuse that you're a furriner. lol

That is unchanged but we have learned to do it with and through our Intel Agencies and Diplomacy.
Which is where and how the actual world works .

Unfortunately there is a very strong link with Mossad, but against that together we have been able to make the US our Bitch .

for me::driving on the left hand side ....

and the royal family

and what do you think of?
Empire, imperialism, mass murder, Rothschild, pedophile royal family, warmongering…

…As relates their government. The British people are mostly great fun people. Too bad their government is a criminal enterprise, just like the US government.

I can't believe I am the only one who mentioned the spreading of the English language.

Consider how a U.S president can go to almost any country and there will be representatives in those governments who speak perfect English. There is no other country on earth who can expect that.

How many governments have citizens fluent in Swedish (but in Sweden they are taught English in their schools). German? Chinese? Japanese?

The British made English the language of business. The Americans helped this continue with their dominance as a super power (which is why I say it must not fail).

Second as a necessarily language of business might be French or Spanish, but that's a distant second. Chinese is too difficult to speak and far more difficult to read/write, also not based on the latin origins.

Communication is the most valuable skill in global friendship and peace.
