That non-native speakers of English cannot succeed in school and serve as nothing but a drain on the student body, because it's just not true. I know because I see it every day. It's hard - harder than what 99.999% here could handle - but it is possible and it does happen. So many people wax nostalgic about what their own ancestors did in coming here, but what to piss on the current generation doing the same thing - only faster and better.
