It wasn't for the campaign, it was to protect his family from a false claim. The statue ran out. Met its limit. There is no magic law that allows it to be pursued later. To your claim, he certainly could be investigated. There were two separate cases which declined to file. Keep grasping at straws like Bragg.
What about a DA prosecuting Hillary? What she did is 100x worse. Rather than a simple hush money payment to some floozy, Hilary reimbursed the law firm for creating a false Russia hoax against her competitor. That for sure is election interference. Where is her felony charge?I just heard James Comey say two county prosecutors in KY and TN want to prosecute Biden. Why not? What's stopping them?
DC Republicans might be too pasty to try something like this, but Red State Republicans are NOT
Go for it
So IOW, Trump wanted to suppress knowledge of his sexual exploits with a willing partner and paid for that, and Hillary wanted to suppress her actions with America’s enemies and deleted 33,000 emails. They have shows dozens of emails, and other documentation from Trump where he clearly states that they need to keep the women quiet "Until After the election". He literally sent an email to Cohen, which is cited in the indictment, saying that they didn't even need to pay Stormy Daniels, but just keep her from talking, with the promise of payment, until after the election, and then it wouldn't matter if she talked. That doesn't sound to be like they were worried about his family. it sounds like they were worried that the story would hurt his reputation going into the election.

Great news. Glad some Republicans are showing backbone. Dems have thought that they could play all sorts of deceit games, and we would never respond. From what James Comey said, two DAs--one in KY and one in TN--are already looking into it.
They should 100% go for it.

And then, we need a DA in Delaware to charge Biden with falsifying records to hide his payoffs from the Communists.
Except Delaware is blue. That will be the challenge.Right. I have 0 faith in Republicans in DC. But Republicans in Red States--at the county level?
oh boy.

It's a good read with some cogent points..but it definitely does NOT reflect the WaPO's opinion.
