Her husband is her cousin, according to their belief they keep the bloodline pure and the special witchcraft will be passed down so they keep the bloodline pure, and the marriage is arranged. It has to do with the Roma society and how it is viewed by Europeans as being backwards and so on…

I think it is not even common for roma as a whole, i know roma mix with everyone no problem and they dont really arrange marriages. It must be some certain groups. I dont know why they take so much media space for it.
