America's enemies want Kamala to win.

Wrong. Most countries allow for asylum immigration under international law, though the specifics of the process vary greatly by country.

International Obligations:

  • 1951 Refugee Convention: The right to seek asylum is protected under the United Nations' 1951 Refugee Convention and its 1967 Protocol, which define who is considered a refugee and the rights they are entitled to. Most countries have signed these treaties and are therefore obligated to provide protection to individuals fleeing persecution based on race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion.
  • Universal Declaration of Human Rights (Article 14): This declaration, adopted by the UN in 1948, recognizes the right of individuals to seek asylum from persecution in other countries.
No links, just your opinion and a copy and paste from who knows where. You know this is worthless, don't you?

There are legal means for a person to apply for asylum. Remain in Mexico worked, Biden undid it. The problem at the southern border is a chaotic mess created by Biden/Harris. Again, you want to come to America, great, use the legal means and I'll welcome you with open arms.

Chaos is never a good idea to implement anything and Biden/Harris are agents of chaos.

You don't appear to know the difference between fact and opinion. My post above is 100% factual. 0% opinion. If you wanted additional information beyond the summary you could easily have used Google to find the two documents.

lol. No, you could easily have linked it when you chose to post it. Why are leftists always blaming others for their mistakes?

Yes, it is opinion. This is an opinion forum. If you question it, as I questioned you, then I post the facts, with links for source.

Notice how Biden/Harris, the border czar, changed the regulations to favor open borders and massive illegal immigration. Notice also, how regulations are present for legal means to request asylum here. Obviously, the word is out in the world that Biden/Harris say trek on over!!!

Then:

The majority of asylum claims in the United States fail or are rejected.[9] While asylum denial rates had grown to a peak of 71 percent in FY 2020, they fell to 63 percent in FY 2021.[10] One third of asylum seekers go to courts unrepresented although those with legal representation have higher chances of winning.[11]

More than three million refugees from various countries around the world have been admitted to the United States since 1980.[12][2] In recent years, the number of refugees admitted by the U.S. has fluctuated due to changes in government policies. For example the U.S. resettled 84,995 refugees in the fiscal year 2016.[13] The number of refugees admitted declined significantly, with only 11,814 admitted in the fiscal year 2020.[14] The Biden administration aims to increase the number of refugees accepted by setting higher caps for admissions.[15] In 2024 the Biden Administration maintained the 125,000 person cap on refugee admissions.[16]

As of January 2024, more than 7.2 million migrants had illegally crossed into the U.S. over the Southwest border during U.S. President Joe Biden's administration — a number higher than the individual populations of 36 states.

So, we have Biden/Harris allowing 7.2 MILLION illegals in his/her first 3 years, you contending that asylum is what this is all about, me showing you that, by law, there is a 125,000 annual cap on asylum seekers. So now we know that what you're talking about doesn't touch the 6.825 illegals that Biden/Harris have allowed in.

And of course, we have the gotaways:

From fiscal years 2021 through 2023, which included data for October 2020 through September 2023, around 1,589,155 "gotaways" were recorded by Border Patrol for the Southwest border. This was in addition to the 7.2 million-plus encounters recorded by officials — not just detected — along the Southwest border.

Comparatively, "gotaways" for fiscal years 2017 through 2020, which included most of Trump's time in office and a small amount of former U.S. President Barack Obama's second term, totaled 521,247.

So now I've shown you that Biden/Harris have allowed almost 9 million illegals into the US IN THEIR FIRST THREE YEARS and only 375,000 of them are allowed to stay on an asylum basis.

Your contentions about the illegals getting asylum here are baloney. It says nothing about 95% of them.

Actually, I could not link it since the info came from ChatGPT. You'll have to go there and enter "do most countries allow asylum immigration?".

I have no problem with us controlling our borders and restricting immigration. The questions are:
  • how do we stop illegal border crossings
    • stick - walls and guards and detention camps (Trump)
    • carrot - aid development and the rule of law Central America, speed up the immigration administrative process (Biden)
  • what do we do with those in this country illegally
    • criminals vs non-criminals - criminality is less for immigrants than for native born
    • families with anchor babies
    • people who lived in this country for years and have proven their worth
  • how do we determine who is admitted and who is not
    • our population would fall without immigration

Actually, I could not link it since the info came from ChatGPT
You should have told me this from the beginning instead of throwing out insults. A bigger person than you would apologize.

how do we stop illegal border crossings
It's pretty simple, go back to the policies from the Trump years. Allow the border patrol to do the job they were hired for, stop incentivizing illegals to come here and cartels making billions, that is stop giving illegals
cell phones, free housing, free food, free healthcare and a ride to a US city of their choice.

Blows my mind that people like you can't figure that out.

what do we do with those in this country illegally
A much harder question, but I'm with Trump for the latest surge. Send them home. For illegals here longer, I am not sure.

how do we determine who is admitted and who is not
They are illegals. That means they broke the law. We stop admitting anyone illegally, why is that so hard for you to understand?? We have orderly, legal means of immigration. Those are the people we admit.

For the asylum seekers, we take these applicaitons more seriously and don't grant every illegal who says rehearsed words a court date 15 years off and let them go free in America.

Other world leaders might just be tired of listening to the blowhard grunt and bellow.

I'd be happy to apologize, just let me know what insults I threw out.

Racial travel bans and incarcerating children. Are those the things you want back?

How?

I think by definition we don't admit anyone illegally.

The Senate bill that Trump killed had funding for exactly that.

You know, you're kind of stupid. I just may convert you to scroll over.

Racial travel bans and incarcerating children. Are those the things you want back?
Wrong. Those were not the policies under Trump. But how many kids has Biden/Harris lost? Is it 350,000 or more?

I think by definition we don't admit anyone illegally.
Only if you don't know the meaning of illegally.

The Senate bill that Trump killed had funding for exactly that.
You don't need funding to stop believing rehearsed bull shit. Democrats really are dumb and always ready to spend money on what should cost NOTHING.

You know, you're kind of stupid. I just may convert you to scroll over.
Nice. When you have no defense you go on the attack.

Wrong. Those were not the policies under Trump. But how many kids has Biden/Harris lost? Is it 350,000 or more?
Are you saying that travel bans and incarcerating children didn't happen under Trump?

Only if you don't know the meaning of illegally.
I know the meaning of 'illegally'. Do you know the meaning and implication of the word 'admit'?

You don't need funding to stop believing rehearsed bull shit. Democrats really are dumb and always ready to spend money on what should cost NOTHING.
You want the immigration process to be sped up but you're not willing to pay for it? Why do Republicans always want something for NOTHING.
