Any .264" bullet. I shoot 140gr Berger VLDs @ 3050fps.
Its a HOT load and I have to pull back .5-.75gr when it is hot out, but it does the job.

Sure but this falls under the 'you have to work very hard (which translates to 'spend a lot of money')" argument. My 6.5 beats the ballistics of .338L by a good margin, and I spend almost nothing on powder and brass.

That's me! My best string is 199/12-x, with 19 of 20 in a cirrcle the size of a pie plate.
Never know when you might need to put a round into a pie hole.. er.. plate, at 1km.

I live in a country where it is difficult to own a gun and most of the police do not carry firearms. It is a pretty safe place to live and raise your children.

She gets her facts from all the drive by shootings she sees on cimre shows and movies.

Using an assault weapon in a crime is about the stupidest choice one can make other than deciding to do the crime itself. It is slow, almost entirely unconcealable, and when fired from the hip like they show in the movie drive bys far less acurate than a handgun.

Actually no one has ever been murdered by a gun. I've maintained a number of them around the house for close to 30 years and not one has ever taken a mind to kill someone.
