There were 2 questions (choices) on Crimean referendum:
1. to reunite with Russia;
2. to stay with Ukraine.
No, really, what were the choices?
You make joke, but not such a funny one. No one recognizes the election in Crimea except Russia. United Nations does not recognize the election. Foreign countries object to the election and call it illegal. China refused to vote and UN Security Council while the other nations on the Security Council said no recognition would be given. There is a reason international community demands neutral observers monitor elections. Elections are easy to fix and create fraudulent results. Crimea did not allow monitors. Almost a year after election and Crimea is not recognized as independent or part of Russia. Do you understand? You always claim Crimea made choice but the rest of world says that is false. No free election took place in Crimea. Only fake kind of election where winner claims 95% of vote that everyone knows is not real.

Camp, Toddster-Parrot and other hardheaded parrots: if
Z leader of your country hardly can crawl over 40% barrier of his approval and recently has been “promoted” from being called “national shame” to “international shame”, it does not automatically mean that the people in other countries and corners of the world can vote higher than that. If Crimea did not escape from Ukraine
in time, Ukrainian tanks would be there killing the population just like they are doing in Donbass now. Unlike you, Crimean people knew it very well and it actually saved thousands of lives. From both sides, BTW.

Obama sucks.
And Putin is a thug who needs to pull his troops out of Ukraine.
How's that low oil price treating you, Ivan?
Between oil and sanctions, I'm guessing your economy shrinks by 10% this year.
Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch.
You are right, economy of my country “is torn into pieces”, just like Obama said recently. But I’m from Ukraine, not from Russia (unfortunately). By saying “Russian economy has been torn into pieces”, Obama was loyal to his favorite style: he apparently mixed up 2 different countries and again told half-truth, half-lies. Just like always.
As for Russia, it has all the good reasons to survive: it has about gold in storage equivalent to $400 billion and pretty low external debt. And its government is doing pretty good job to stabilize its economy and their ruble. If I were you, I would pay more attention and be more worried about USA with its trillions of dollars in debt, which keeps growing each second.
Recently Christine Lagarde, the IMF Chief, asked Putin to support Ukrainian economics, not to demand from Ukraine paying its debts to Russia and to consider possibly loaning more money to official Kiev. Either Christine is pretty dumb or Obama was lying about “Russian economy being torn into pieces”.
And my name is not Ivan, Mr. Toddster The Parrot.
